This place offers an entire range of the authentic noodle soups, beginning from old school to Asian nouveau-style. Let's treat ourselves at Spadina Ave. and Dundas St. Chinatown with the sumptuous and the best value for fill & taste - the noodle soups. Asian Legend at Dundas St W, Toronto is famous for ‘Dan-Dan Spicy Noodles with Peanut Sauce’. This is one of the best nouveau restaurants known for Shanghai, Northern Chinese and Taiwanese cuisine. One can relish authentic traditional and spicy dishes here. Besides Dan-Dan Spicy Noodles with Peanut Sauce, one can savor the flavor of steamed pork dumplings, Sichuan noodle, onion pancakes, rolled beef, and the glutinous rice with meat floss. Another dish that I really relish here is the soya sauce chicken and barbequed pork with rice noodle soup. Relish satay chicken rice noodle soup at the Xe Lua Restaurant on Spadina Avenue. This food joint is popularly known as Train Pho. Even after being located at the second floor Train Pho enjoys a loyal clientele. Grilled pork with spring roll "bun" bowls, make your own fresh rolls are some of the mouth watering dishes served here. However, spicy satay chicken with rice noodle soup is a hot selling dish. Now lets move to King's Noodle Restaurant at Spadina Ave to relish Wonton Noodle Soup. It may appear to be a casual Chinese restaurant with roasted pigs and bright-orange squid hung outside but don’t go by it's old decor. Else, you will miss on a yummy Wonton Noodle Soup served with egg noodles. If you wanna have something from the vegetarian menu, try the vegetable rice roll here. It makes a good lunch and late night snack. |
